Statmart was established in 1995 by Barry & Anne Rogers soon after arriving here from South Africa. Having been in the toy & stationery business since 1970, for Barry it was just a matter of course to just carry on in Australia with similar products. After 3 years Australia officially became home when the whole Rogers family became Australian citizens, so we can proudly say we are Australian owned & run...Barry & Anne look after Victoria & South Australia and daughter Nicky, who lives in Brisbane looks after Queensland & NSW. All the other states are looked after by associate wholesalers and agents. The warehouse in Huntingdale is in the capable hands of our daughter, Sherri. Barry & Nicky travel extensively to SE Asia in search of new products to bring to the market and each year we introduce at least 150 new items into the range.
